The Eclipse 05:30
Why do you pester me? Haven't we played this game? Oh you tear at the veils of my silence With no shame Now you dare to break through You cross this majical line All the strength of my will you bring Down to nothing In no time Oh, I would have cursed you I went to the very edge of the spell Only the promise of a sevenfold return Kept me Just short of the final key Oh, but I could not curse you I cursed instead my frail heart Oh the vanity of a blind desire Versing … the dark Why ….answer me Oh you bring me only sorrow All my spells are broken now I will come to you I will answer your call I will have my explanation You can be sure I will have the truth I will have this one piece to keep For all that you have stolen I still have my secret Bright fire Burning Hidden deep You bring me only sorrow My best intentions fall down All my spells are broken

Over The Mountain (1) He said “my pretty fair maid, it’s good to meet you here For it is here on the mountain your beauty shines so clear Your beauty shines so clear So if by chance you look for me, perhaps you’ll not me find But I’ll be in my Green Castle, beyond the mountain side Beyond the mountain side…” He Moves Through The Fair Last night he said to me “your mother won’t mind, And my father won’t slight you for your lack of kine” And he laid his hand on me and to me did say “Ah it will not be long, love, till our wedding day” And he stepped away from me and he’s gone to the fair And so fondly I watched him move here and move there And he stepped away from me, with one star awake As the swan in the evening moves over the lake Last night he came to me, my own dead love came in And so softly he came and his feet made no din And he laid his hand on me and to me did say “Ah it will not be long, love, till our wedding day” Over The Mountain (2) Sun and dark, sun and dark, sun and dark she followed him For his eyes so bright did shine And he led her over the mountain, beyond her mortal life Beyond her mortal life… So if by chance you look for me, perhaps you’ll not me find But I’ll be in my Green castle, beyond the mountain side Beyond the mountain side….

Pray Love 03:39
Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember how it used to be I have tried to leave it well enough behind Tried to let it go, to leave it be Pray love, I remember Did you find, did you find it? Love, do you remember me? It doesn’t matter which way I turn It doesn’t seem to matter what I do The night is cool and quiet now but still I burn Everywhere, everywhere is you Pray love, I remember Never come, never come back Oh, do you remember me? Pray love Oh you are the curse upon my soul My bitter stain, my heavy toll; You are the burden of my heart The cross that I must carry You are the sorrow of my days, The penance for my sins unpaid You are Affection’s enemy Why do you follow me? Pray love There’s something to be said for having lost I remember how it used to be Loving none too wisely has a raging cost But now I know, I claim the Fire in me I remember, in the Wind, in the Wildfire, wild and free Pray love, remember In the garden, under moonlight, By the mare’s tail Oh, you’ll remember me Pray love

The Dancers 04:27
I call upon the Dancers wherever you are Listen now, the Wind is calling I call upon the Dancers wherever you may be Step lightly, answer your calling I call upon the Weavers of majic strands The keepers of the instruments The harp makers The turners and the architects The clock makers The faces in the windows, the children in the dark Dress brightly, braid your hair with flowers Throw off your old clothes Find your holiday gowns Or come just as you are I call upon the people, all the nations, all the names All the people everywhere Regardless of your standing Make ready and prepare We're waiting for you Come on, come on, come on, come on now we’re waiting Let the Festival begin…

For Joy 04:19
I can see running all down my window Little raindrops dancing in the sun It’s just me and the cloudy day today A little rain, and a little bit of fun Here I go, on my way Never say never again Never too late to learn How to cry For Joy It was all such a long long time ago Too much winter, so much cold But doesn’t it always come as a big surprise Suddenly you know spring is coming So I go like the wind Like a flower in the sun Never too late to learn what it means To cry For Joy Listen This is what we come here for This is why we bother coming here at all This is why we try, this is why we cry This is why we leave behind the ones We have to leave behind Now I see on the dearest face I know A little smile, a secret little flame A little blush on a beautiful cheek A loving heart is come alive again So you go on your way Never say never again Now you know how it feels and What it can mean To cry For Joy For Joy Spring is coming….for joy Spring is coming …I could cry for joy Spring is coming Spring is come again….. Spring is coming Spring is come again….. Don’t have to be lonely any more No more….. Spring is coming………

Avalon 04:16
It is not easy Beware the ones deceiving Seeing may not be believing It is not easy Take care to look behind you Where is the value in the light that blinds you? Oh Avalon I feel in the power in me It moves like a great wave I feel your hand upon me now My brow is burning And all I cast away Returning It is not easy The angels keep their ancient places And still the mark is there On certain faces Oh Avalon Oh Avalon

Witness (1) So did I agree to this? "yes" What word, what gesture , what prayer Betrayed my willingness to be broken? "it's only Dancing…" I summon the Elements with my flesh When I Dance My arms describe the Sky Rising Vain are those tears, vain and fruitless all The song too brief for sorrow In this wasted land, oh it's a wild hand that deals the cards And they all could change tomorrow…. Coming up, feel it rising Coming out of the darkness Rising like fire in the night Oh yeah, Pythia rising Coming out of the ashes burning Like an eagle to the light Slowly as illusion rolls away All the twisting dreams of yesterday Are calmed here in the morning On the wings of new birds heaven bound No stain, no shadow to be found New horizons calling Wisdom leads us here In spite of fate and in spite of fear And ever tear comes back again like diamonds A crystal crown to wear in Raven's hair Colours flying now Witness (2) " she is asleep…dreaming"… "yes"… "she thinks she is broken" ….." no"… "This is the Dancing" …… "yes" ....

In the Air 04:38
Oh hear me now, go sail across the ocean Oh hear me now, go sail across the sea Look at how the sun is rising now Look at how the shadows become pale And fade away Oh listen to me, you are ready for this morning (Ready, come on, time to sail away) All glistening and bright, finally it’s here There’s nothing now to keep you tethered to the shore There’s nothing that is strong enough to hurt you anymore My Dear Go on, leave me now, while I’m standing here Everywhere you go my spirit will follow you With the angels I will watch over you And they will lift me up To meet you in the air My Dear So fly my beautiful bird, fly on towards the summer Winter is over now and you are stronger than before And I will fly too I will make my journey I will feel you on the wind that moves Through my hair And I will cry for you But when the journey’s over I will look for you I’ll meet you in the air My Dear

about

..This album is meant to be understood as a dialogue between the heart and Imagination. In the midst of the ordinary, even, and especially, in the midst of what is painful, there is an attendant Grace awaiting the invitation. It is more than release we seek, but Transcendence.

In my imagination I have heard the voice of angels. Sometimes singing, sometimes whispering, always urging me to look higher, see further, and love bigger than I am. I have tried here to convey some of these conversations..... Janette Geri

Janette spent many years rearranging these songs, singing new life into them and updating the artwork and liner notes. Unfortunately she was unable to put them all together and produce this before she passed away. One of her last instructions to me from her hospital bed was to do this. She made sure I knew where all her artwork was!!
So this is for Janette, and also for Bruce, from me. Pam Lyons

It was Janette’s last with that 10% of the royalties from the sale of her music will be donated to Support Act, who were a great support to us at the end.
